Getting Started

1. Create your account

Go to financely.app/sign-up and register. After verifying your email you’ll be taken through the onboarding flow.

2. Create your workspace

The onboarding flow walks you through creating an organization — this is your workspace. Everything in Financely (invoices, leads, templates, team members) lives inside an organization. Fill in:
  • Organization name — your company or team name
  • Description — optional, shown internally
  • Website — optional
Once created you’ll land on the dashboard.

3. Configure your branding

Before creating your first invoice or sending a proposal, set up your branding so everything looks professional from day one. Go to Settings → Branding and upload:
  • Your logo
  • Brand colors (primary, secondary, accent)
These apply globally across invoice templates, widgets, email templates, and your generated site.

4. Add your products

If you sell products or services, add them to your Product Catalog first. The AI proposal generator uses your catalog to suggest relevant items automatically when a new lead comes in. Go to Products → New Product and fill in name, price, and description.

5. Invite your team

Go to Settings → Team → Invite Member. Enter their email and assign a role:
RolePermissions
OwnerFull access, can delete the organization
AdminManage users, settings, and all content
MemberCreate and edit content, limited settings
The invitee receives an email with a link to join your organization.

6. Create your first invoice

Go to Invoices

Click Invoices in the sidebar.

Create Invoice

Click Create Invoice, choose a template (or use the default), and fill in the seller, buyer, and line item details.

Generate & Send

Click Generate PDF to produce the invoice document, then Send Invoice to email it directly to your client.
